Le Marriage di Figaro

This afternoon was the final performance of our production: Scenes from the Marriage of Figaro. (Some scenes were in English others in Italian, hence my everso creative title for this blog.)

I'm very happy to be done with it. Opera consumes so much of one's time, that even if it's enjoyable I can't helped but be relieved when it's overwith. And yet, before the Act IV finale had begun, I started thinking about what to audition with next semester. It's just high school all over again, I just live from one show to the next. Didn't see it happening that way.

I'm very much looking forward to going home for Thanksgiving. For the first time since I was like 7 I'll actually be home for Thanksgiving and not at my Dad's, thoroughly looking forward to this, especially for the better food!
